Descripción

N-Benzylguanidine hydrochloride (N-BzGuaHCl) is a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound that belongs to the group of mitochondrial inhibitors. It is used as a cardiac agent and has also been shown to inhibit the activity of integrin receptors. N-BzGuaHCl has been shown to be effective in preventing tumor growth in mice, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the uptake of monoclonal antibodies by cells. This drug also inhibits the activity of benzalkonium chloride, which is often used as a preservative in cosmetics and household products.
