tert-Butyl 3-bromopyrrolidine-1-carboxylate is a reagent that is used to synthesize fxa inhibitors, which are compounds that inhibit the formation of fatty acids. It can also be used as an octane booster for gasoline and as a solvent in organic synthesis. tert-Butyl 3-bromopyrrolidine-1-carboxylate has been shown to be stereoselective, with its chlorosulfonyl isocyanate group binding to the pyrrolidine ring's nitrogen atom. This reagent has an alkoxy group on the benzyl group or the c1-c6 alkoxy group.
