Descripción:Butan-2-yl 4-hydroxybenzoate is a surfactant that can be used to prepare micellar solutions for the quantification of analytes. It is an organic solvent that has been optimized for use in micellar solutions. The interaction between butan-2-yl 4-hydroxybenzoate and ethylparaben has been analyzed, as well as its interactions with other analytes such as sodium dodecylsulfate and 4-fluorobenzoic acid. Butan-2-yl 4-hydroxybenzoate is an anionic surfactant that binds to the cationic surface of the micelle and stabilizes it by reducing aggregation. This product also interacts with sodium dodecylsulfate, a detergent, to form a micelle in water.
