Información del producto
- 11-Undecen-1-yl bromide
- 11-Bromoundecene
- 11-Bromoundec-1-Ene
11-Bromo-1-undecene is a functionalized unsaturated alkyl. It has been shown to act as an inhibitor molecule in the uptake of ruthenium complexes. 11-Bromo-1-undecene is synthesized by the quaternization of 1,11-dibromohexadecane with bromine. This compound can be used in metathesis reactions, which are electrochemical reactions that involve two or more metal ions, often copper and ruthenium. The nucleophilic attack of the phenyl groups on the ruthenium complex leads to the formation of a covalent bond between the two molecules, producing 11-bromo-1 undecene.
