This drug also inhibits the production of proinflammatory cytokines such as IL-6 and TNFα, which are associated with tumor progression. 2-Bromonaphthalen-1-ol has been shown to bind to monoclonal antibodies that recognize a specific antigenic site on the surface of cancer cells
