Información del producto
- 7-Isoquinoline
7-Bromoisoquinoline is a benzamidine that inhibits the transport of substances across cell membranes. It has a ring structure and functional groups, and is found in steroidal alkaloids. 7-Bromoisoquinoline has been shown to be effective against primary targets such as the surface-enhanced Raman (SEAR) effect. SEAR is a technique that uses laser light to excite molecules at the surface of materials. This causes some molecules to emit light of a different wavelength, which can be detected by an instrument called a spectrometer. 7-Bromoisoquinoline also has strong activity against metabotropic glutamate receptors (mGluRs), which are proteins found on the surface of nerve cells that regulate how those cells respond to neurotransmitters such as glutamate. This drug binds to mGluRs and blocks the transmission of signals from these receptors, reducing inflammation caused by their activation in diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease and asthma.
