Beclomethasone is a synthetic glucocorticoid that has been approved for the treatment of asthma and inflammatory bowel disease. It reduces inflammation by suppressing the immune system response. Beclomethasone has also been used in clinical studies to treat bronchial, bowel disease, and natriuretic effects due to its ability to increase magnesium levels in the body.
