4-Bromo-3-nitroacetophenone is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C6H4BrNO2. It is an organic nitroaromatic compound that is used in organic synthesis as a building block for pharmaceuticals. 4-Bromo-3-nitroacetophenone has been shown to be effective in relieving pain and it has been used as an analgesic.
