Descripción:BI-3406 is a molecule that inhibits the enzyme diacylglycerol acyltransferase (DGAT). This enzyme catalyzes the esterification of diacylglycerols with fatty acids, which are important in regulating lipid metabolism. BI-3406 has been shown to inhibit tumor cell proliferation and induce apoptosis. In addition, this drug has been shown to inhibit inflammatory bowel disease by reducing levels of prostaglandin E2.
