Información del producto
Birinapant is a drug that inhibits tumor growth by mimicking the effects of DNA-damaging agents such as radiation and chemotherapy. It modifies the expression of genes associated with cell death, and leads to apoptosis. Birinapant also inhibits the signaling pathways that regulate the toll-like receptor (TLR) pathway, which regulates inflammatory responses. This drug has been shown to synergistically enhance apoptosis in cells exposed to radiation or photodynamic therapy. The mechanism of action is not fully elucidated but may involve inhibition of the TLR signaling pathway and/or inhibition of protein synthesis.
