Benzyl acetoacetic amide is an organic compound that is used as a reagent to synthesize other chemicals. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of tuberculosis. Benzyl acetoacetic amide has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of inflammatory molecules such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes.
