Descripción:2-Benzyltryptamine (2BT) is a synthetic substance that has been used as a research chemical in the study of the interactions between serotonergic and dopaminergic neurotransmission. In one study, 2BT was found to inhibit dopamine uptake in rat brain synaptosomes and to bind to both serotonin and dopamine receptors. 2BT has also been shown to have an affinity for melatonin receptors, which may be due to its structural similarity to melatonin.
