2,2'-Bipyrrole is a molecule with a trifluoroacetic acid group. It has a macrocyclic structure and can be used as an immunosuppressant in cancer therapy. 2,2'-Bipyrrole has been shown to be effective against cervical cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. The compound also has anti-cancer activity against skin cancer cells and inhibits the growth of human tumor cells in mice. This molecule is synthesized by reacting sodium carbonate with carboxylic acids such as benzoic acid or acetic acid. The compound can also be synthesized by a Suzuki coupling reaction with metal chelate and particle, which are used to form the bipyrrole ring structure.
