Descripción:Butamifos is a chemical compound used as an insecticide. It inhibits the polymerase chain reaction by binding to actin filaments and inhibiting cell division. This inhibition of cell division prevents the formation of resistant mutants. Butamifos has been shown to inhibit bacterial growth in a model system when exposed to light, which may be due to its ability to bind cytochalasin B, a compound that inhibits actin polymerization.
