Descripción:3,5-Bis(trifluoromethyl)pyrazole is a pyrazole derivative that can be used in coordination chemistry. It has been shown to act as a ligand for the copper oxide ion channel. The binding of 3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)pyrazole to the copper oxide ion channel leads to an increase in the amount of Ca2+ ions that enter the cell. This compound has also been shown to inhibit the activity of x-ray crystal structures and cation channels with nanomolar concentrations. These properties make 3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)pyrazole an effective agent for treating various diseases like cancer, Alzheimer's disease, and epilepsy.
