This drug also inhibits the activity of a number of enzymes, including carbonic anhydrase, topoisomerase II, glutathione S-transferase, and phospholipases. 4-Bromo-2,6-difluoroaniline is not cytotoxic to normal cells. The anticancer effect of this drug has been demonstrated in both clinical and laboratory settings.
