Descripción

Boc-glycine is an amide that is used as a building block in the synthesis of peptides. It has been shown to be an efficient method for the synthesis of benzyl- and benzhydryl-protected glycine derivatives. The analogs of Boc-glycine have been shown to have different spectrums, which can be useful for identifying conformational changes in proteins due to ligand binding. Boc-glycine chloride has also been shown to interact with tetrahydrofuran, forming a conformationally rigid molecule. These interactions are important for peptide synthesis, as they help stabilize the intermediate product during the reaction process.
