Descripción:Butyl glycolate is a solvent and plasticizer that can be used as an analytical method for cellulose. It has been shown to have genotoxic effects in the form of chromosomal aberrations in human lymphocytes when exposed to butyl glycolate vapor for 24 hours. Butyl glycolate is also used as a substrate film for liquid crystal displays, and has high resistance to water vapor permeability.
