Descripción

Boc-D-Arg(Tos)-OH is a pharmacological agent that has been used as a vasodepressor and an inhibitor of trypsin. It is synthesized by solid phase synthesis and has been shown to have a hydrophobic interaction with the transition state, which leads to its inhibitory potency. Boc-D-Arg(Tos)-OH also has an agonistic effect on the lysine residue in the active site of trypsin, leading to deamination and inhibition of proteolysis. This drug may also be used for therapeutic purposes in patients with high blood pressure.
