N-Boc-4-Chloro-piperidine is a molecule that has shown to modulate the toll-like receptor, which is involved in the inflammatory response. It has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells and to be an inhibitor for other compounds. The mechanism of activity for N-Boc-4-Chloro-piperidine has been suggested to be through its ability to bind to bromodomain sites on protein receptors. This interaction inhibits the interaction between pyrimidine compound and DNA, which leads to a decrease in the production of RNA and proteins. N-Boc-4-Chloro-piperidine also has been shown to have antihyperproliferative effects against subtilis and heterocycle, as well as inhibiting diabetic neuropathy in mice.
