• Descripción: 6-Bromo-4-fluoro-1H-indazole is an inhibitor that binds to the indoleamine 2,3 dioxygenase (IDO) enzyme. This binding prevents the conversion of tryptophan to kynurenine, which is required for the production of immunosuppressive cytokines and other inflammatory mediators. 6-Bromo-4-fluoro-1H-indazole has shown anticancer activity in animal models. This inhibitory activity may be due to its ability to inhibit tumor cells and induce apoptosis. 6-Bromo-4-fluoro-1H-indazole also inhibits the production of proinflammatory cytokines such as IL1β, IL6 and TNFα by immune cells.
