Descripción:
2-Bromo-6-methylpyridin-4-amine is a potent, selective inhibitor of receptor tyrosine kinases. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of the TGFβ receptor kinase and has been used in an enzyme assay to determine the kinetics of protein phosphorylation by TGFβ. 2-Bromo-6-methylpyridin-4-amine also blocks the activation of caspases, which are proteins that play a role in apoptosis.
