Descripción:2-Bromobenzene-1-sulfonamide is a potent inhibitor of the ns3 protease, which is involved in the inflammatory response. It also inhibits the human receptor binding to proinflammatory cytokines, and has been shown to inhibit the production of proinflammatory cytokines in animals. 2-Bromobenzene-1-sulfonamide has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties by inhibiting the activity of serine proteases that are involved in inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) and other inflammatory diseases. 2-Bromobenzene-1-sulfonamide has also been shown to inhibit cervical cancer cell growth by blocking tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα) at its receptor. This drug also inhibits protein synthesis, leading to apoptotic cell death.
