• Descripción: Boc-L-octahydroindole-2-carboxylic acid is a potent inhibitor of proteases and cellular toxicity. It inhibits the life cycle of viruses by preventing the synthesis of peptidyl proteins that are essential for viral replication. Boc-L-octahydroindole-2-carboxylic acid has been shown to inhibit human genotypes, including mutant genotypes, and is a potent inhibitor of HCV protease. It inhibits the activity of other proteases by binding to their active site and blocks them from cleaving their substrate. Boc-L-octahydroindole-2-carboxylic acid also inhibits cellular toxicity in cells, which is caused by virus infections or exposure to toxic substances. This compound also has anti-inflammatory effects on cells by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins.
