Información del producto
Bicyclo[2.2.2]octane-1,4-dicarboxylic acid is a polymer film with a framework that resembles the structure of a dihydrochloride. It has been shown to have reproducible properties and could be used in the synthesis of diacid and semicarbazone polymers. Bicyclo[2.2.2]octane-1,4-dicarboxylic acid has been synthesized by reacting dithiol with dimethyl ester in the presence of Raney nickel catalyst at high temperature and pressure (300°C, 20 MPa). This reaction produces a polymer film that can be used as an electrode for electrochemical studies or as a support for catalytic reactions in organic synthesis. The polymer film also has potential applications as an electrical conductor, dielectric material, or gas barrier.
