Información del producto
Benzyltrimethylammonium tetrachloroiodate is a non-polymeric compound that binds to the soluble guanylate cyclase and stimulates the production of cyclic GMP, a second messenger. It is used as an anti-thrombotic agent, by inhibiting platelet aggregation and preventing thrombosis. This drug also has been shown to increase levels of active Glp-1 in cardiac tissue. Benzyltrimethylammonium tetrachloroiodate has also been shown to have numerous other biological effects, including renal protection against chronic kidney disease and cardioprotection against myocardial infarction. The nitrogen atoms on this molecule are responsible for its ability to form covalent bonds with albumin, which may be why it binds so well to other proteins.
