Descripción

Belleau's Reagent is a chemical reagent that reacts with the amine group in the adrenergic receptor. It is used to measure the activation of these receptors by measuring the amount of cAMP produced when exposed to an agonist. This chemical can also be used to synthesize pateamine, which is a drug used in cancer treatments. Belleau's Reagent has been shown to react with other compounds such as chloride, forming trifluoroacetyl chloride, and bond cleavage of n-oxide compounds.
