Descripción:
1,3-Bis(4-methoxyphenyl)thiourea is a ligand that binds to the amino group of a metal ion. It has been shown to form an octahedral, centrosymmetric, and hydrogen bonded dimer in solution. The crystal structure of 1,3-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)thiourea has been determined using x-ray analysis. This compound is coordinated by two methoxy groups and one thiol group.
