Descripción:2-Bromo-9-fluorenone is a synthetic compound that has been used as a labeling agent to identify impurities in 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid. It can be synthesized by the reaction of fluorenone with bromine. This synthetic compound has been used in an experiment to study the transfer of catalytic activity from one molecule to another and the effect of temperature on this process. The experiment was conducted at different temperatures, including room temperature (25°C) and 100°C. 2-Bromo-9-fluorenone is also used as a precursor for other compounds such as 3,4-dibromo-2-(2,4,6-trichlorophenyl)phenol and 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene.
