Descripción

Byakangelicol is a natural compound that belongs to the group of p-glycoprotein (p-gp) inhibitors. It is an analytical method and pharmacological agent with a matrix effect, which has been shown to be a substrate of P-gp. Byakangelicol has been shown to inhibit the transporter protein P-gp in rat liver microsomes and human intestinal cells. The substance also prevents the transport of anticancer drugs from the intestines into the body, thereby inhibiting their absorption.
