Descripción:Bis(pentafluorophenyl)dimethoxysilane is an epoxy resin that has a compressive strength of 12.5 MPa. The organic solvent unreacted in this product is toluene, and the reaction temperature is 250°C. Bis(pentafluorophenyl)dimethoxysilane can be used as a coupling agent or as a catalyst control agent for the production of polyethylene, polypropylene, and polystyrene resins. This epoxy resin is also used as an emulsifier in the production of rubber and other elastomers. It can be injected into cracks and crevices to seal them off from water intrusion. Bis(pentafluorophenyl)dimethoxysilane has been shown to be effective in controlling corrosion by dibutyltin dilaurate or dibutyltin oxide.
