The kinetic constant for this reaction was determined by measuring the rate at different concentrations of 2-(carbamoylamino)-4-(methylsulfanyl)butanoic acid.2-(Carbamoylamino)-4-(methylsulfanyl)butanoic acid has been shown to inhibit the production of malondialdehyde in rat liver mitochondria.
