Descripción:
p-Chloromethyl Benzoic acid is a stilbene derivative that is used as a diagnostic agent for the detection of lymphocyte transformation. It is also used in wastewater treatment, as a detergent composition, and as a pharmaceutical dosage form for the treatment of skin diseases. The compound has been shown to have strong anti-inflammatory properties due to its ability to inhibit the production of inflammatory mediators such as prostaglandins. The drug’s chemical structure consists of an aldehyde group on one end and an amine group on the other end. This allows it to form hydrogen bonds with hydroxyl groups on proteins, which leads to slow-release activity.
