Cyclohexene oxide has been shown to inhibit mitochondrial membrane potential and transfer reactions. In addition, cyclohexene oxide has been shown to be a good catalyst for the synthesis of optically active epoxides. Cyclohexene oxide has also been used as a solid catalyst in polymerization reactions.
