1-{3-[(1E)-2-Chloro-3,3,3-trifluoro-1-propen-1-yl]-2,2-dimethylcyclopropyl}-2-(2-methyl-3-biphenylyl)ethanone (CPCBE) is a chemical compound that belongs to the class of glycol ethers. It has been shown to have regulatory effects on the particle size and exhibits low toxicity in vivo. The use of CPCBE as a cross linking agent in polyurethane foam can improve its durability and resistance to degradation. CPCBE has been shown to be effective against target pests such as cockroaches, ants, and termites.
