Descripción

2-Chlorothiobenzamide is a synthetic, centrosymmetric, reversed-phase amide with a calibration range of 0.1 to 5 mg/mL. It is used in liquid chromatography as a photometric assay for the determination of chloride ion concentration in water samples and has been shown to be reproducible and diffraction. 2-Chlorothiobenzamide can also be used as an amide for derivatization of hydrazones for analysis by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The substituent effects on the structure are important in determining the reactivity of 2-chlorothiobenzamide.
