• Descripción: Cyclopentylphenylketone is a cyclopentanophenone that is used as a cross-linking agent for proteins. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of serine proteases, specifically trypsin and chymotrypsin, with an IC50 value of 2.5 mM. Cyclopentylphenylketone also inhibits the inflammatory response by inhibiting the activation of nuclear factor kappa-beta (NF-κB) and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα). The compound has been clinically used in treating autoimmune diseases such as hepatitis and ischemia reperfusion injury.
