Descripción:H-gamma-carboxy-Glu-OH is a synthetic peptide with the amino acid sequence H-gamma-Carboxy-Glu. It is a glp-1 analogue and its function is to regulate glucose homeostasis. The protein has been shown to have antiapoptotic effects in human osteosarcoma cells. H-gamma-carboxy-Glu-OH has also been shown to regulate mitochondrial membrane potential, which is required for cell signaling pathways and calcium binding. H-gamma-carboxy-Glu-OH's receptor molecule is known as the GPCR, which plays an important role in the regulation of cell signaling pathways and calcium binding. H gamma carboxy Glu OH is a cyclic peptide that contains disulfide bonds. This compound has the basic structure of an alpha helix, which consists of many turns of amino acids bonded together by hydrogen bonds between individual amino acids
