Descripción:
4-Cyclohexylbenzenesulfonyl chloride is a triazene that reacts with diazo compounds to form unsaturated compounds. The catalytic action of 4-cyclohexylbenzenesulfonyl chloride is due to the presence of an electrophilic sulfonyl group, which can be replaced with other electron-donating groups. This compound is used in the synthesis of hydrochloric acid and hydrochloric oxide. It has been also used in the preparation of 1,2-dibromoethane (1) and 1,2-dichloroethane (2).
