Descripción:Cyclopropancecarboxamidine HCl is a ns3 protease inhibitor that binds to the active site of the enzyme, thereby preventing the hydrolysis of peptide bonds in proteins. Cyclopropancecarboxamidine has been shown to inhibit receptor binding and energy metabolism in bacteria, while not affecting nitrogen fixation. It also inhibits pyrimidine synthesis by blocking the incorporation of ammonia into pyrimidines. The structural formula for cyclopropancecarboxamidine is shown below.
