CHS-828 is a novel small molecule that inhibits the growth of myeloma cells. This drug has been shown to suppress tumor cell proliferation and induce apoptosis in vitro, as well as inhibit the angiogenic process in vivo. CHS-828 also inhibits mitochondrial membrane potential and reduces the expression of toll-like receptor TLR4 in solid tumours, suggesting its potential for treating cancers with high levels of TLR4 expression. CHS-828 has been shown to significantly reduce the number of live cancer cells after treatment with this compound, which may be due to its ability to inhibit tumor progression by inducing an antitumor response.
