Descripción

Cinnamodial is a natural compound that inhibits fatty acid synthase, an enzyme involved in the synthesis of fatty acids. It also binds to and inhibits the activity of cation channels. Cinnamodial has been shown to have inhibitory properties on HL-60 cells and Candida glabrata. The acetate extract of this compound has inhibited the growth of HL-60 cells. In vitro assays conducted with Cinnamodial have shown that it inhibits the production of lactic acid and CO2 by yeast cells, which may be due to its ability to inhibit enzymes involved in these processes.
