- 6-Chloropyridine-3,4-diamine
6-Chloro-3,4-pyridinediamine (6CPD) is a dual inhibitor of protein kinases and is one of the most efficient inhibitors in its class. 6CPD is an analog of staurosporine and has been shown to be an inhibitor of protein kinase C (PKC) and tyrosine kinase receptors. It also inhibits the activity of glycogen synthase kinase 3 (GSK-3), which plays a role in cell cycle progression and apoptosis. 6CPD has been found to be effective against family members that share a similar structure to PKCs, such as PKA, PKG, PKD, and PLK. 6CPD also binds to ATP binding sites on the target enzyme with high affinity.
