- 1,2,3-Thiadiazole, 5-Chloro-
5-Chloro-1,2,3-thiadiazole is a reactive molecule that has been shown to have chemiluminescence and low-dose cytotoxicity effects on prostate cancer cells. It is found in the plant Pueraria lobata and Fructus ligustri. 5-Chloro-1,2,3-thiadiazole has also been shown to inhibit bone cancer cell growth by causing mitochondrial membrane potential loss. The bioactive phytochemical thiadiazole has also been shown to have potent antitumor activity against peucedanum root, congestive heart failure, and fragmentation assay.
