3-Chloro-4-methylphenylboronic acid is an inhibitor of bacterial growth that has been shown to be effective against dermatological, inflammatory, and infection diseases. The inhibition of fatty acid biosynthesis leads to a reduction in the production of peptidoglycans, which are important components of bacterial cell walls.
