Descripción:Clarithromycin oxime is an erythromycin derivative that is a potent inhibitor of protein synthesis in bacteria. It contains a methylating group, which has been shown to be necessary for its antibacterial activity. Clarithromycin oxime inhibits the growth of filamentous fungi and can be used to treat infectious diseases caused by pyogenes and staphylococci. The effective dose is not known, but it should be administered orally or intravenously.
