Cyclobutylamine is a chlorine atom with two nitrogen atoms and an amine group. The chemical structure of cyclobutylamine makes it a weak base. Cyclobutylamine appears to inhibit the growth of herpes simplex virus by interfering with its ability to spread by attaching itself to the surface of the virus and preventing it from entering cells. It also has some effect on low energy cancer cells, which may be due to its ability to inhibit cell division.
