Información del producto
PBTZ169 is a bactericidal agent that has been shown to be effective in animal models against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. PBTZ169 is the most potent of the new class of antibiotics, which are designed to target bacterial metabolism. PBTZ169 has a broad spectrum of activity including antibacterial activity against tuberculosis and anti-tuberculosis drug resistance. In humans, PBTZ169 inhibits energy metabolism by binding to the gene product and preventing its function. This leads to an accumulation of bacterial products, resulting in cell death.
