Cycloeucalenol inhibits the activity of target enzymes such as diacylglycerol acyltransferase and phosphatidylcholine phosphatase, which are involved in the synthesis of fatty acids and phospholipids. This inhibition leads to decreased production of prostaglandins, which contribute to inflammation. Cycloeucalenol has been shown to inhibit prostate cancer cells in vitro, while extracts from Pueraria lobata have demonstrated anti-inflammatory effects in mice.
