Descripción:3-Chloro-2,6-diethylaniline is a compound that belongs to the class of thermoreversible optical sealants. It has been shown to be an effective sealant for polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) films. 3-Chloro-2,6-diethylaniline is also used as a reactive diluent in the production of ethylene oxide. This compound is not reactive with pyridinium salts and does not undergo transition from its liquid state to a solid state at ambient temperature. 3-Chloro-2,6-diethylaniline is used as a model system for studying the morphology of polymerization products by using an optical microscope. It can also be used as a thermoplastic material in various applications because it has low viscosity and high molecular weight.
